Common questions

Do I need technical skills to use Crew? +
For Tier 2 (Managed Setup) — no. We set everything up during a 30-minute call. You just need a Google account and the ability to fill in a spreadsheet. For Tier 3 (Download) — some technical comfort is helpful. You'll need to create an n8n account, connect your Google account via OAuth, and enter an API key. If you know what those things are, you'll be fine.
Is my business data safe? +
Yes. Your data flows through your own Anthropic API account — not ours. Anthropic's API is a commercial product, which means your data is not used to train AI models. It stays in your accounts, under your control. For healthcare clients, we configure Crew to process only de-identified, aggregated operational KPIs — never patient-level data.
What data sources can Crew connect to? +
Google Sheets and CSV files work out of the box for all tiers. The Managed Setup tier also supports direct database connections including AWS RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, and more. If your data lives in a database, we can connect to it directly — no manual exports required.
What are the ongoing costs beyond Crew? +
You'll need an n8n cloud account ($20/month) and an Anthropic API account (pay-as-you-go, roughly $2–5/month for typical weekly reporting). That's it. Google account is free. There are no hidden costs and we're upfront about this from day one — if a tool costs money, we'll tell you.
How often does Crew run? +
You set the schedule. Weekly is most common — many clients get their report every Monday morning before they start the week. Daily, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules are all possible. The workflow runs automatically on whatever cadence you choose.
Can the report be customized to my industry? +
Yes — and this is one of Crew's core strengths. The AI is prompted with your specific business type, industry context, and KPI definitions. A healthcare clinic gets different analysis framing than a manufacturing operation or a SaaS business. Managed Setup clients get full industry-specific prompt tuning included.
